Which one is for a 73-87

I know one of these driver side battery trays is for a 73-87 and the other is for a 88-95. Can you tell me which is which?

The one on the left looks to be 81-87 aux tray for driver side. The right one looks to be 88-98 style.

Re: Which one is for a 73-87

Any idea what the 81-87 driver's side tray is worth? Can I ask that here?

Re: Which one is for a 73-87

I don't suppose it would be helpful if I mentioned the one on the left is for '87 and earlier?

I supervised the area of the assembly line where that was installed. I had a (short) lady that installed one of those every minute - except for the CUCVs. They were so tall she couldn't reach....so I ended up doing those...

Re: Which one is for a 73-87

Keith and everyone is correct. 88-98 body style is on the right where as the 87 and earlier is on the left. The 88-98 is easily distinguishable between the two by the metal lip on the side opposite where the bolts go. Theres a rubber spacer that bolts in there to hold the battery in to keep it from rolling around. As for the body style before that, rope and bungie cord will suffice!!
