brand new moog cc603 coil springs... one looks funny...pics inside
Hey guys
Im putting my brand new moog cc603 rear springs on and the drivers side looks funny. one of the coils inside the spring looks to be weaker than the rest. the spacing between 2 of the "close together" coils is much less than between any of the other "close together" coils. take a look at the space between coils 2 and 3. the coils are almost touching. the passenger side coil looks perfectly fine. take a look at the pics pic 1: driver side coil... look at uneven spacing between coil 2/3 vs 1/2 or 2/3 pic 2: closeup of driver side pic 3: passenger side coil... everything looks ok im assuming something is wrong with that driver side coil... any ideas? thanks |

It does look different. Have you put it on the ground and drove it over a few bumps to see if they will seat. Sometimes this makes a difference....Jim
