Has anyone bought the fuel tank sending units from LMC or Chevy Duty and what do you think of them? For parts that are harder to get to like this I like to buy from the dealer but the price difference is alot. $250 compared to $80.

I recently replaced my pass. fuel tank due to a hole caused by rust. I seriously considered replacing the sending unit at the same time since it is such a pain to get the tank out but since it has worked fine for 19 years I decided not to.
I finished everything and the fuel gague pegs way past full. I know this is a ground problem but I have redone and cleaned all contacts and same problem.

Just wondering about the quality of the cheaper ones, would rather not have to replace this again for another 19 years or until the tank rusts.

Got mine from Chevy duty, works good

- I am leary of LMC on some items, just my .02cents

i bought one from chevy duty too cause like you i replaced a tank it works well and im pleased my truck is 76 do i think ill get 27 years out of this part like i did the previous one heck no but hey i can try
while ive not had any problem with the one or two things ive bought through LMC i can honestly say they are more expensive than chevy duty and im one for shopping price. when youre buying aftermarket its pretty much all the same foreign crap so might as well shop price

I just put one in 2 month ago from LMC. I have no complaints. $79 +S/H. Didn't think that was expensive.
