1967 C10 Project

My project. A 1967 chevy C10 longbed 2wd. It was my wife's grandfathers truck. It has been sitting for a good years or more though. Hoping to get it running soon then on to clean up. I think it has a really good patina look to it.

Re: 1967 C10 Project

That is a nice looking truck! I rather wish my truck (stepside) was a long bed. For some reason, I think short wheel bases look odd.

I'd try and restore that thing, with a few modern options (cell phone charger jack, new radio, cup holder, etc) and use it as it was intended. I hope whatever you decide to do, goes smoothly.

Ya I have some pretty good plans for it. Putting a new fuel sending unit in it this weekend and see if I can get the truck to fire. I'll post some better pics this weekend.

You probably already know this, but I think one is supposed to spin the oil pump with a drill to toss oil on the rockers....I haven't done it yet but I plan to before I go for "engine start."

^^ Or you could just drain the old oil and pour new oil in. That should lube some of it up pretty good.
