After much searching I finally found a truck worthy of a re-do. A California truck that ended up in Tampa with virtually no rust and a crate 350/performer intake/edelbrock motor installed. A/C is all there with a turbo 400 ,ps and power drum brakes. Dad is a retired body man and I finally have a shop to do it in so looking forward to the fun!

Actually it's not the "long", it's the standard 127. The long ones (Longhorn, Sierra Grande Custom Camper) are 133" wheelbase. Below is an example.

Note that the 133" would normally have a bed extension behind the cab and a big ugly seam. I photoshopped that out of this photo and then welded it out of real life...

Anyone ever see these. Custom tanks on either side of the frame rails. Switch under the dash to switch between the two. the stock tank is no longer installed. You fill them behind a flap in the rear fender well..crazy. Even notched for the rear springs.
