Windshield leak on 72 c-10
I bought repo gasket and trim for my 1972 c-10 and had it installed by the body shop that did my paint several years ago. I finally got caught out in the rain while driving the truck last week and lo and behold, the windshield isn't sealed at the top driver side. I have no idea if the gasket and trim were made by Precision or not so I figure on just buying a new gasket from Precision before I attempt the reinstall. Reading posts by others, it looks like I will be best off to hunt down some OEM trim rather than use the after market trim I have now. Since the 67-70 trim and gasket seems to install easier than the 71-72, can I use the 67-70 Precision gasket and OEM trim in my 72 cab without any fitment issues? Secondly, how hard is it to run down good OEM trim for 67-70?

Re: Windshield leak on 72 c-10
i would take a squeeze bottle with soapy water and inject around the leaky area then carefully with a rubber mallet massage it and try that to seal the gasket
if it works cost zero// except for the few drops of soap
