Rear Sport Bumper Kit Suggestions

Does anyone have a suggestion on who has the best complete kit for quality and pricing? Is Early Classics kit good and reasonable?
Thanks in advance.

I don't know of a kit. You have to order the correct brackets and bumper for your truck (step side or fleet), long bed, short bed, etc. I'd get it all from GMC Paul. He actually knows these trucks and can make sure you get the right parts. The parts are good quality, prices are fair, and they'll work with you on shipping if you order a bunch at once. Here's the bumper I bought from them recently

Re: Rear Sport Bumper Kit Suggestions

I have a theory about the center plate brackets on these bumpers. I don't know this for sure [yet] but I think it is the same size as the ones on a S/T Blazer from 83-94. I have several of those laying around, and even some are chrome if I am recalling them right. If indeed that is true that would make for another cheap part to add to the cheap list for the ones that walk the pick your own part yards. Seeing that the center probably could be bought out of a blazer bumper for just a few bucks. I will be buying three back bumpers over the next while as three of these trucks are on the build list for my shop When I do get the first bumper in I will wait to order the center until I find out if my theory is true, stay tuned I will post up when I find out. Jim

The plate that holds the license plate is also the same on chevy vans with the sport bumper through 1990 I think .I got mine off a late 80's van .

The Truck Shop out of Orange, Ca. has bumper kits or you can piece it together. I was happy with the price and quality.
