I think $4-4500 would be fair. Sounds like a "helper" trying to get top dollar. Someone could probably talk some sense into him.

I don't know. Perhaps there's some wiggle room in the asking price. If it's as clean as it looks in the pictures the price is not too far off for that area of the country. Looks like a pretty nice truck to my eye.

That sounds about right. Another car forum I'm on people say this all the time of their Corvettes. It's always over priced or they are getting low balled lol.

supply and demand! not too many well preserved original big block anniversary trucks out there. probably not too many guys in the market either... but it could be worth every penny for the guy looking for it!

A few years back a 68 anniversary short stepper came up on eBay. It was a one owner Palm Springs truck with zero rust and a member here won it for just under 5k. I wonder what became of it?
