what can i tuck under the fender

hey guys right now i have a 76 K15, it has 2" blocks in the back with 1" addleafs, and had some leafs up front that sagged so low i had no travel at alland so i swapped for 6" leafs up front that were made for a SBC so they sag and im not sure what size it is up front, but i have 33x13.5 swampers, and they rubbed like crazy up front, got that fixed but now im curious what size lift is up front and if i went to a 6" up front and left the 3" in the back if i could fit 38.5x14.5s all the way around? heres pics of before the lift up front and after

Re: what can i tuck under the fender

You are going to need a minimum of a full 6" lift to get 38''s under, you may have to go as much a 8'' to do it with no cutting and rubbing. I used to do a bunch of them before the Independents came out .... rarely do a solid axle now. Best advice is to call a manufacture and ask them .... they will know the answer for sure.

Re: what can i tuck under the fender

just to get my 33s to not rub when turnin i had to take the fender trim off and do just a tiny bit of cutting
