67-69 C20 4x4 suggestions
Hello everyone, I have a 67 c20 4x4 that i pick up for a restoration. But i have my self a decisions i need to make and was looking for some advice on what i should do. The truck is a 67 but the front clip is off of a 69, should i put the 67 back on the truck or should i keep it with the 69 front clip. I do like the 69 grille but im conflicted. Any suggestions on what i should do would be great.

Welcome to the site! Guess it depends on some things.. What's your plans, how fat your wallet is and such. I personally like the 67-68 front clip better, but then I would assume you would have to purchase this somewhere. IMO if that's a true 67 k-20 I would want the 67 front on it. Maybe we can see a pic of the inside glovebox to determine the originality of the truck. Really comes down to what you like and your wallet..

I would get a 67 front clip and shave the rear marker lights on the bed and have a pretty rare truck!

Do the frame and body numbers match? I'm asking because your calling it a C20 and not a K20, The bed and front end are not 67 so its possible the cab could have been put on the K20 chassie.

Ill look at the numbers, i really haven gone over it that much. I just know it has the small back window, other than a 67 having one im not all that sure what it is i have. Is there other years that have the small back window?

Re: 67-69 C20 4x4 suggestions
There are some differences between the 67,68 frame and the 69 to 72 frame. Does it have a sm420 with a t221 transfer case.
Here is a thread of a 67 4x4 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=604776 another good thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=477957&page=6
