Cargo Light

My original cargo light was smashed and damaged so i bought a replacement from LMC , it dose not fit tight nor really conform to the body curves and after a couple of year the screws are rusting , any ideas, i thought about getting stainless screws but these have some kind of a shoulder on them

Get some stainless screws, the screws in their kit are nothin special. I just installed their cargo light and am very happy with it. I guess I'll swap out the screws for stainless now.

Replace with SS screws and take it back apart and put the rubber part in some hot water and let it get soft then install it. I like using my kerosene heater for this. I sit it outside the garage and let it heat up good then place a pan on top to heat up. It works great.

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

it was about a million degrees in the sun when i did mine. It was a pain in the butt i seem to remember but the warm cab (burning hot) loosened up the rubber. Isnt there a weird tophat nut grommet thing. I put mine in backwards I think and had to redo it all.

i will try the hot water trick, i was also did you guys use any sealer for the black rubber to the body?
