HA HA I remember my first Chevy... '79 1/2 ton with a wooden bed.... Totally a hillbilly party ride (drove around with a wooden picknick table screwed to the bed for a month, complete with paper plates and plastic ware stapled to the top.
Ahhh, memories |

Nice ride man! My first vehicle was a 72 blazer. I desperately wanted a short bed from day one though. I just now (17 years later) I finally got the short bed I always wanted. It looks like your truck is lowered already a bit.

Re: New here, here's my 69 Shortbed c10
Very nice first set of wheels, congrats. My good friend got a 68 Chevy truck as his first set of wheels when he was 17 also, 33 years, one and a half tear downs later and now a new carb, and back to stock exhaust, his truck is still looking as good as it always did. Don't beat it up, you got yourself wheels that speak out loud already (BAD@$$) put your hard earned money into it when nesserseay, make sure it's road worthy. Use this forum as it can be very helpful, good people here. In my opinion that truck sits just right.

welcome from Texas. I like it just like it is, first make it safe and run good, and have fun with it. then spend all your money on it like we do...nice one to start with...

I wouldn't do anything to that truck except add gasoline and change the oil as needed.

Why mess with it? The stance is perfect as it sits. You are 17, drive and enjoy it for a while.
