I want to take a 67'-72' body and put it on my 1980 k20 frame. Or a 73'-74' body. Is that possible? The reason for this is because the state of colorado requires emissions for 75' and newer. Also, can it it be a c20 body or does it have to be a k20 body? The c20 seems to be cheaper.

Re: conversion

Anything can be done with a big hammer and welder, but the 67-72 is not a direct swap. The 73-74 should be a direct swap, you could just swap the cab from a 73-74 and use the title for the 73-74 and keep the bed and frontend that you have now.

As for the c20 and K20, the only differences that I know of on the bodies are the transmission humps are bigger and removeable on the k20. If you have a 4x4 then you would be better with a k10/20/30 cab.
