re pop hoods

well since a few threads on repop tailgates were put up lets do one on hoods. specifically 67-68

I have 3 67-68 hoods here all 3 have the famous dip in the center of the hood and some rust along the front edge.

my plan was too use what i can from all three too make one decent one.

a local(too me)member has a new repop hood f/s.
I know i've read some horror stories on new sheetmetal(hoods)

do all the repop hoods have this fit problem or is it just the cowl hoods that have the fit problem.

my 67 has all gm steel for the body parts. i'm alil' worried that a aftermarket hood wont fit as well.

so tell me how does your repop hood fit

Re: re pop hoods

My steel cowl hood from LMC fits very nice. I bought it about five years ago if that means anything.
