Primer Question

I got my truck when I was younger and painted the whole interior like a cobalt blue (wish now I had left it original). Lately I have started removing the paint but wanted to know if there is a primer out there for longer term use that doesnt come off. Notice it comes off on my forearm from resting on the window seal. Is there something better to use? or just one of those things to deal with until I get it painted?

Re: Primer Question

Use some kilz on it and it shouldn't come off but as far as primer goes, you pretty much need to paint it.

Re: Primer Question

epoxy primer works best for long term , a urethane primer will last longer than old school lacquer primers but is still porous and lacks long term protection from moisture
