Project Youey 1969
Well I figured ill start a resto thread I've never done one before but could use some mortal support for this. found some more rust today which pissed me off but whatever it's my problem now time to get this thing back on the street.

little update.
started smoothing out the firewall and welding it back together. smoothed out where the heater box used to be because that was rusted out, no need for that anymore anyway going with vintage heat and air. removed the old radiator support, as i was doing that i noticed the radiator sprung a leak, what a surprise :banghead:, no big deal was going to to put a nice aluminum one in anyway. trying to get most of the body work done but it sure does get dark early now, and man is it cold out. going to be doing the gas tank relocation to rear and use the flip out license plate i like that the best out of all the relocation ideas. time to move it into garage so i can work on it late. :chevy: |
