If I replace my granny low four speed with a five speed can I use my existing clutch linkage or will I have to convert to hydraulic?

You can use the factory linkage with a 5 speed TKO, I did. I think the 6 speed you are forced to do a new bellhousing and hydro clutch

Re: transmission replacement

you can use the factory linage. I am gonna do a T-5 swap on one of my 70's. Go to the top of the page and click home on the upper left corner of the page. Then click on tech tips, then click on T5 swap I think it is on the 4th page in the tech tip section there is a lot of info even if your not going with a T-5 some good swap stuff as well. Jim
