need help choosing proper year lift kit
hey guys, i have a truck , the cab is a 76 the bed is an 80's(square gascap covers) and the front clips an 85, and i have no clue about the frame, and its a bigblock. i want to get some 6in lift springs for the front from roughcountry.com but they have 73-76, and 77-87. i dont know which kit to get.
whats the difference between the front suspension set up?

Look for a vin on the frame some say its under where the drivers door is some say passenger side same place.If you find a vin it could tell us what year the frame is if its different from the cabs vin.

VIN is stamped on top of passenger side frame rail near cab/box gap, I have personally seen it under the cab area, another member has a picture posted of it just behind the first bed bolt. Early ones (possibly yours) were stamped on the top of the frame near where the fuel pump is on the engine.
