51 on s10 wheel spacers?

Hi
So looking under the hood of this 51 on s10 which has 18's on the front it sure seems like when the wheel is turned full to the passenger's side that the tire rubs on front suspension. is this the case? assuming i need some wheel spacers or are the wheels too wide?

if so..anyone have a link or recommendation on a pair?

Thanks
kevin

Re: 51 on s10 wheel spacers?

My 15x8 wheels and tire combo rubbed on pass side too. I used 2" spacers to get the width I wanted and to get the wheel out to where I like it. Depending on your tire width, 1" may be enough.

Bolt pattern for an S-10 is 5 x 4 3/4 inches. (4.75)

Re: 51 on s10 wheel spacers?

This is completely dependent on your wheel backspacing, fit in the fenders, etc. You need to look where it's rubbing and see how to fix it. Be careful not to move them too far out.

I have 15x8" wheels on the front of my '46 on an S-10 frame, but I custom ordered the wheels to make sure they would clear everything. I have no clearance issues at all. Because it's custom only you can answer what the problem is and how to fix it.
