How rare is my truck?

Hello, I have a 1962 k10 large rear window. Short wheelbase. With a 235 and a 4SPD. hard to find specifics on # built for this year. Any idea about how many where made like mine?

I wouldn't say rare but uncommon yes but, probably more common in your neck of the woods then it was new I would think.

no production# till 64 as the expert yelmer says. not many made in the early years.

Not super rare, but it is not all that common either. There are few in my neck of the woods. PICTURES!?!??!?!?! lol!

Judging by other years, 64-66, I would guestimate less than a 1000 made in any year in short bed Fleetside , same for stepside. . For 1964 K10 Short bed fleetsides Yelmer was able to state 564 were made and I would guess that to be close for your 62 truck also give or take. I have a 60 and 61 Chevy short fleetside and 62 GMC short fleetside K10s I would like to know production numbers on. Seems the 4x4 Panels are the rarest.
