That type of set up is the biggest PIA to get the second tank filled. I had one on a J10. The "main" tank has to fill completely. Then you continue and fuel is pushed into the second tank. If you are lucky, you can get about a gallon a minute into the second tank. I ended up yanking it and setting up a separate fill for the second tank.

Anyone know where I can get the rubber filler hoses to fill the tanks individually now?

I like it! Thought about doing that same thing on my old C20. It may take longer to fill, but sure beats driving around to another gas pump to fill "the other tank"! I did a few long trips and would alternate filling one tank full, then drive till the other is empty. I miss my old truck!!!!

To answer about getting new rubber hoses, any of the truck companies should have those. I LOVE the LMC catalogs, it's like having an IPC (illustrated parts catalog) for my truck. LMC definately has them.

I dug around and LMC was the only source I could find that had them. 50$ shipped for both sides. I will probably put it back at some point but Im going to have someone make me an aluminum or stainless one first. This one was rusted inside and out. It would be alot better if someone were to take the time to move the filler necks up higher on the bed. It would fill alot easier then and work much better. My main concern other than the rust was the rubber joint in the middle being right over the exhaust. I could just see my truck burning down from that.
