I have chance to pick up a 71 gmc 3/4 4x4 8 ft step bed for $3500 I dont want it I just want the tow hooks that are on it

71 GMC 111,000 miles 3/4 4X4 4 Speed manual trany, Drum backs, close nuckel, power steering, manual brakes, cab roof lights, 305 V6, AM radio works, leaf springs, pto winch, manual choke, dual exhaust, bed floor wood good, fram good, doors good, rockers and cab corners good,

Both inner fenders need replaced, right side fender is bad in the frount cant see in pcs. cab mounts are going bad on right side looks like the floor mite be going bad too cant tell, Bed fender are going bad and they are the wroung fenders 73 and up, not sure if the bed is the same year need help with that, dash pad is bad.

this is a nice truck not tring to make money just gain some tow hooks

if its a '71 it should have disc brakes, open knuckles up front, and it shouldn't have the V6. I think they stopped using it in '70. but if its in really nice shape, I'd get it, maybe try to talk the owner down some.

oh, and on the bed...the 8' stepside bed is basically the same for 67-72 as 73-87. They use different fenders, and the spot where the fenders attach is different.
