Soap on the gasket wasn't enough for me. It was way too tight on one side. I took a thick shovel handle, put it about 8" down the open fuel neck, then leaned on the handle gently to create a gap while I got it in place.
Have a wide flat head screw driver handy to push the edges down in to place |
