How do you tell 72 OEM door panels apart from repro panels?

How can you tell if a 1972 door panel is original or reproduction? Are there any obvious signs?

Just a guess but originals probably have a GM part number on back.

Yes, the original panels have the GM part number, actually it has several part numbers, one for each color.

Thanks for the help guys. I found a pretty nice panel at the pick a part the other day. Glad to have saved an original.
