Will 1954 car windshield fit in truck?

Wondering if I can search other options trying to find a windshield.
Is a windshield from a '54 car the same as the truck windshield? The Chevy 210 looks real similar, but haven't seen any measurements, or one up close.

No car windshield fits our trucks as far as I know. Why are you considering this?

Repop windshield are fairly cheap, or you can probably find a driver-quality one from a truck being parted if you're trying to go extra minimal on budget. Remember that a windshield IS a safety item.

An example of what I'm talking about.

Not exactly what you need, but they're out there. Just keep watching CL.

Sorry about the double post.

Re: Will 1954 car windshield fit in truck?

Thanks.
Just looking for other glass options that might be interchangeable since the '54 glass is pretty rare compared to the '47-'53's.
I've been watching craigslist. There was a guy selling front and back glass in Michigan, but too far to drive, and probably too much to ship.

Thanks.

Re: Will 1954 car windshield fit in truck?

Bob's Classic Autoglass in Oregon has New tinted windshields for 235. They have the rest of the glass if you need it too.

Any of the local purveyors of used parts or glass will want at least 100 if not more for a used windshield for one. Local meaning within a hundred mile radius of Kennewick as the guys up here in the upper valley think that stuff is gold.
