Re: need mounting holes/ locations for buddy bucket cab brace

There is another recent post about this. Advice was to mount the seat with brackets attached in the outside holes and then mark the inside hole location. I'll be doing this soon and have been searching and reading lots of posts about bucket & console mounting. hope others will chime in with advice.

Here are some pictures for you. Center with the tank mounting hole and an inch out from it. From here if you have the bracket use it as a template for the other 2 holes.

When you mount your OEM bucket seats, if you use the outer bench holes as a template, the inner bracket hits the cab hump on the drivers side. I believe 70LonghornCST bent his mount inward instead of outward so that he could mount it flush to the floor. This is what I was going to do until I decided to go with the buddy buckets instead. You will see what I mean when you get your seats and line them up.

Sorry for the hijack Rick, I believe your question has been answered with measurements and pics above, so you should be good to go

The holes for the sides will be 6 1/2 inches center to center from the center hole for both sides.

Hint: Put the bracket on a scanner and scan it for a free paper template.
