Re: does anyone make doors like this for a blazer?

If you use stock Doors and cut them down they would be the same as Stock just have the cut in them and finish them. Fiberglass probably would Have issues If flexing the truck A Lot or rubbing against trees Or rocks Four bying.

If you cut down stock doors I don't think you would be happy with the outcome. You would have to reinforce them with tubing. If you just drive your blazer with out the hard top on it flexes the body.

If your rockers and rocker Boxes Are Junk or Rot has taken over in the door area it Would be a bigger Problem. But with stock doors they have internal support braces Already and to close them in after Cutting would be similar To boxing your frame for Less Flex. I've seen it done with not a lot Of problems. But a lot I've seen also Have a cage that keeps body flex to a minimum as well. You could cut down a stock door and add a one inch strut brace Across the opening to help with support and also keep somewhat a safer side impact protection. Or you could Buy a tube bender and make tube doors and skin them to have a solid Look. That way flex Wouldn't be a issue either.
