lowering kit for 69 gmc

I have a 1969 gmc with coil springs in front and leaf in the rear. I want to know what is the best route to go to lower it as much as i can without a c notch. want to keep it level in both the front as back as well. Thanks in advance!

Call ECE.
They will fix you up.
www.earlyclassic.com
They have drop leaf springs for the rear, and drop spindles and springs for the front.
Everything you need.

A flip kit for the rear would be cheaper, but would also be lower and require a c-notch.

Re: lowering kit for 69 gmc

Flip kit in rear will get a 5 or 6 inch drop. Relocated the rear shock and I'm fine with no notch on my 71 lwb. Used the DJM kit.
Sexy truck BTW

Re: lowering kit for 69 gmc

i was talking to the guys at brothers, they said that i could get a 3/4 drop with 3in drop coils in front and 4 in drop leaf springs in the rear. what do you think about that route?

Re: lowering kit for 69 gmc

I would opt for ECE..... I would also do spindles & trim the current springs (if they're not fubar'd) vs doing a 3" drop spring. The spindle/spring combo allows for improved ride quality, better shock travel, & ease of aligning.
