more rear clam shell issues.
It really is fun putting something back together that you didn't take apart. Many thanks to the informed members here on the forum. They always come through!
Todays problem is this: Rear gate and upper door installed and I can't seem top get the upper hinges to work properly. When the upper door is closed you have push the top in? What am I missing here? Hinges don't seem worn and I have exhausted the adjustment options.

Re: more rear clam shell issues.
Sounds like the hinge pin is maybe worn?
Open the rear hatch and then wiggle at the top where the hinges attach up and down. checking for play in the hinge pin. Do you have any play there? One of my hinges is worn out so there is play in the passenger side hinge. In order to get the upper door to close I have to hold the top right door near the hinge to help remove the play, then the door will shut.

Re: more rear clam shell issues.
I have been messin with it all weekend. Looks like I am missing the latch/device on the top of the gate that centers and lifts the clamshell upward. Made some of my own and it works much much better.
Will post some pics The hinges are pretty tight not much play at all. Thanks for the help.
