Western drop spindles ??????
What are the differences between the western drop spindles for 60 - 70 and 71 - 72. I know the brakes are different, but I thought the spindles were the same. Also, the 73 and up spindles are much cheaper. Can they be used on a 72?

71-71 are disc brake spindles, 60-70 are probably drum. yes, 73+ spindles can be used. i think you need to use 73+ ball jooints and tie rod ends.

The difference in the spindles is the size of the holes for the Ball Joints and Tie-Rods. I used their 63-70 spindles on my 67 with stock ball joints and tie-rods.

60-62 are the same size spindle but have much bigger ball joint holes.
