Motor ID?
I have 1972 blazer the casting # on the block is 1MQ629 with 4VP under that an any info on the motor would be great.thanks

Where is that located? Back of the block on the drivers side near the tranny? That's where the casting number should be.

That's the suffix code area. Look for the casting number on the back of the block. That in conjunction with the suffix code will narrow it down.
