Strange Junkyard find

Found this today at my local pick-n-pull. I thought it was different so I snapped a few pics. Anybody ever see one before?

Re: Strange Junkyard find

Badges from Choo Choo or another custom house?
Nice place for a 1/2 DIN stereo, 10M, and CB out of sight... Not many folks look up.

Re: Strange Junkyard find

I didn't see any special badges. The rest of the truck looked like any other 84 k10. 305 with auto. Only other out of place things. It had hdyroboost brakes, and a newer engine with center bolt value covers.

Re: Strange Junkyard find

That truck was probably a factory diesel since it had hydroboost. When it died they threw in the 305 instead...

The headliner is neat, i would have pulled it looking for a company name...

Re: Strange Junkyard find

It looks like something out of a big rig. Maybe it's even GM out of a Topkick or something.

If it's all metal do you know if it's removable? It may be part of the cab as in welded in.

Re: Strange Junkyard find

Yeah wish I would have grabbed it, but I'm more worried about getting my truck back on the road. I don't think the head liner would fit in the wife's cruze.
