Re: Lets see some tail light mods

I will try to get some pictures... I filled in the factory light holes because of metal damage and put oval lights in with rubber grommets "trailer lights". I'm going to drill the bumper and put 2 little white leds in for reverse lights like these:

No trim around the lights with LED's installed.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I didn't mount them myself, Judas from Marquez did them for me. Don't appear to be too difficult though.

I'll post a pic of my "homemade" LED's. Still working on something for back-up lights.

Re: Lets see some tail light mods

Here are a couple of lousy pics...Hard Drive crashed and left me pic-less.

But I thought I show the clear tail lights and back up lights. On the tails, I used two coats...very light coats...or NightShade spray. I use an LED bulb from E-slay...Just a few bucks.

On the BU's, it's just one coat of NightShade (got it at O'Reilly's). I also used it on the front turns, as well. But they're hiding in the grille now.

If I can get the ice broken off the cover of the truck, and if you want a better rez pic, I can do that tomorrow.
