Fred
Sure like them seats! Did some work on mine yesterday, new head and intake gaskets (major leak) Painted the interior white and hammered silver door panel inserts, and the same with the glove box and guage cluster.

would have an idea what year seats are in it???

Re: Blue 72

Sounds like a cool color combination. You need to start a build thread so we can all follow along with it.

Re: Blue 72

Twisted on the carburetor some and cranked around on the distributor on this blue turd,, it runs MUCH better. Took it for a little test run and got into Jackson as some of the bunch was leaving the little car show. I had some fun with a couple of the billet babies.. Looking like **** sure does get you some healthy respect,, I am diggin it.

Re: Blue 72

Well.... It looks like the blue truck will be moving north. New owner has called and said he will be down Saturday to get it. Just can't find the right one I want to build. I am back on the prowl.

Re: Blue 72

Hey Fred
You Should have kept mine, I changed out the front springs added air shocks to the rear, closed up a few rusty holes, she runs like a bat out of h&%#.
Getting right around 20 mpg with 30" tall tires out back.
Very comfortable ride! She gets alot of compliments everywhere we go!

Re: Blue 72

Hey Marty. Tell me about it. I have had a dozen or more I should have kept, just cannot find "the one". I am so glad you are enjoying the GMC. Keep us posted on the progress with it.

Re: Blue 72

The Blue and white two tone is my favorite. If I didn't have to chage the entire interior ($$), I would have gone with the two tone blue.
