CL Bucket Seats - Not mine
Ive been looking for a pair of bucket seats for my truck, and came across these on CL. He is asking 400 for them which is a bit more than I want to spend on seats right now.
I normally post in the truck section, but these buckets are actually out of a blazer so I thought someone here might be need them http://wichita.craigslist.org/pts/4190642278.html

Re: CL Bucket Seats - Not mine
Nice find, those buckets are out of a '73 up, the tracks won't quite fit in the '72 or earlier.

Re: CL Bucket Seats - Not mine
The difference in shape is subtle, but would be clear if you had a true 69-72 seat next to them. The seat back is more rounded on top than these. Also, the seat covers are definitely not the earlier style, '73 up had that emblem in the center of the seat backs.
I've heard that you can put the earlier seat covers on these with minor foam trimming. But the driver seat track will not line up with the factory holes if I remember, the passenger seat track/tilt will work.

Re: CL Bucket Seats - Not mine
I have the later style Passenger seat In my 72. The front bolts 3/4 line up. The rear is the same bolts but it needs risers on the rear or the seat will Be laid way back because the rear isn't raised there on a first gen blazer. I put in a aluminum spacer and longer bolts to Make It sit better. Still Need mod the bracket so all the bolts go In on the front.
