Exclamation Auto Parts Store for Sale on Oregon Coast

I mentioned this in a post on CK5.com and got some interest so I thought I'd post it here too.

My parents are trying to sell their Auto Parts Store in Coos Bay Oregon. The want to retire. They opened the store in 1983. Asking price is $350K. This includes the inventory ($186K), 5,500 sq ft. building (appraised at $169K), delivery vehicle, new computer system (still being installed), bearing press, brake lathe, furniture, fixtures and equipment. Over half of the shop is my dad's person play space. I built & painted my '70 Challenger in the back room. Plenty of space to build your own rigs/toys.

Coos Bay is on the southern Oregon Coast. It is about 2 hours West of Eugene and the one of, if not the largest metropolitan area on the Oregon coast. Coos Bay proper is appox. 25,000. The adjoining city, North Bend, is around 10,000. There is probably another 10,000 - 20,000 people in the surrounding area. The best part is it is located at the southern end of the Oregon Sand Dunes!

If anyone is seriously interested, please PM me and I can put you in touch with my parents.

Store name?

Which store is it and do they own or lease site? We've talked before, I'm from there (spent 14 yrs there) and get down there all the time.

That area will be great investment and is undervalued right now. Largest port between Portland and San Fran.

And yes the dunes is one if not the best. We had way too much fun out there in high school

Great hunting and fishing oportunities too.

Can I make a commission?

Sorry, no food stamps! Coos Bay is the only deep water port between Portland & San Francisco.

They own it all, building, land, inventory, etc. It is in the Empire district - McInerney's Auto Parts. They were a BIG A store when they first opened but BIG A but are indepentant now.

Definately is a beautiful area. The inventory & building alone are worth more than what my parents are asking.
