Need some advice

I think I have found the fleet side bed for my truck. How do you guys suggest I haul it? Would it be alright to put it about 3 pallets high on the trailer and strap it down, haul it upside down? I'm a dummy on this subject.

Easiest way to haul a bed is to flip it upside down and use 2 4X4's or 2X4's on the bed sides width of a pickup. Tied down with 2 or 3 cargo straps. If you are worried about the truck's hauling bedsides use an old blanket or cushioned material under the boards. Hauled them this way before works great.

Agree x2 I also put blocks on the 2x4's to keep them n place.

If my bed on the trailer is really flat could I just put blankets down on the floor for padding. Your talking about putting boards crossways to the bed so its setting on the 2x4's sideways right.

I think they were talking about turning the bed and placing the bed with the rails touching the rails on your truck [the bed is upside down in this]with the boards running between the two sets of bedrails from left to right. The blankets can go next to each bed to protect each set of rails. Hauling on a flat floored trailer is a whole other thing. I have done this maybe hundreds of times. I rebuild late model wrecks and have done so since 1987. I have chased parts for hundreds sometimes into the thousands of miles to bring home the parts I needed to build the trucks or SUV's I was working on at the time. A lot of time on the trailer I just put the bed on a set of tires, one under each place it wants to touch the floor. Strap it down in an X pattern and bring it on home.good luck. Jim

Boards width wise across the truck hauling bed for support. Then your new bed on top, upside down matching the other just flipped. Cargo straps secured it good n snug.

Nice thing about hauling it this way is all the room for the extras still inside the bed, fenders, chrome, etc is all tucked inside. If you decide to haul on a trailer anyway you will need clearance inside the wheel tubs. Allow enough height for that clearance.
