Man that turned out great! And fast too (build time). Did you cut the bed floor sections at an angle? seems like there would be some gaps if you cut it straight. turned out very nice, looks like it was stamped that way, excellent work and grass too .

Re: 67 short fleet resto-mod

Cut them at 22.5 angle, used a abrasive blade in a circular saw, wouldnt do it that way again.

Re: 67 short fleet resto-mod

No rubbing issues with the setup? Did your control arms maintain factory width or did it narrow it? I have your brake set up but with factory control arms. Don't wanna assemble my truck to measure so I may go with your numbers

Re: 67 short fleet resto-mod

67ctener, no rubbing issues but had to run a spacer in the rear, 5" b.s. would have been perfect for the rear. I dont think the A- arms change the track width, the upper arm is longer to allow you to get camber in spec w/o a lot of shims though.

Rusty, the step in the bed floor is to clear the exhaust and the rear sway bar.

That is a beautiful truck, very tastefully and practically done. I think you nailed what you were shooting for in that truck.
