Re: Just want to let everyone know

Yea I was TDY to Fairbanks back in 92' and I know how cold it can get. We had late 80's -early 90's quad cab chevy's to use and they all had block heaters but we never had any other issues. Fun times up at the ole Refinery bar and Moose Creek Lodge if you get a chance to go to either of them.

Yes. 554RHCES out of Korea. We built the Supply Warehouse. "Lead, Follow or Get the Hell Out of the Way" was the motto we lived by . Couple guys also went in to North Pole and got Tattoos at this joint that had a Pot Bellied Pig running around in the parlor.

It was cold in SoCal this morning too...like 46F or something...It only got up to 79F during the day, and not the 80F the weather man had promised.

I work with A-10's, F-16's and still a few F-4's. Was doing Sheet Metal now in the Production Control realm making it happen for the Warfighter. Ever hear of the "bone yard" , the USAF facility not the commercial or museum circuit? Been with AF for 20 now and still lovin' every minute of it.

I am a young avionics technician on f-16s, just hit my one year mark for the air force. Never heard of the boneyard? I'll ask around at work tomorrow.

Me either. Winters are a little long. Are you going to do a build thread on your truck?

Re: Just want to let everyone know

It was -4 a couple of weeks ago and my throttle cable was quite stiff until the engine got it all warmed up. I also noticed that it's quite crusty with rust too, so I'm surfing looking for new right now... cruise cable too.
