Dynabrade dynazip or similar tool
To remove rust and paint? who has one? How do you like it? Long time ago I was doing an El Camino and somebody talked about one to do the underbody with and talked about how the wire fingers just ate the under coating right off the floor. I bought one from TP Tools and put he wire wheel on it and played with it for about 15 seconds but then put it back in the box and went back to work on the other jobs I am in the middle of that is keeping me from working on my 70 C-10. The other main question I have about the tool is if anyone has the same one I do and has tried any of the wheels from Dyna. They offer more wire wheels than TP does, everything looks to be the same even down to the size of all of the wheels so just wondering before ordering to make sure. Jim

Re: Dynabrade dynazip or similar tool
I dont have much too add too your thread but i have used a dynabrade/file
at work too put a "brushed grain" finish on stainless steel. this particular tool we use a scotchbrite looking abrasive wheel. it works awesome for getting scratches and gouges outa the stainless and give it the brushed look we have a few differnt sized dyna's each one is set up a lil' differntly. i havent seen one yet with a wire wheel though. and i could imagine one setup with a wirewheel would work good for undercoating. although a propane torch, putty knife and ventilation is alot cheaper to remove undercoating they are definitly a cool tool too have layin around.
