Recommendations on Swaybars

Hello Everyone-
Any recommendations on front and rear sway bars?
I have a 70 c-10 on air. Front ride tech a-arms. No drop member.
I heard of ece's sway bar and porterbuilts.
Ideas & thoughts please.
Thanks in advance

I have an old porterbuild one that you can have. You just have to come and get it.

Wink Re: Recommendations on Swaybars

I put early classic up front and bought a camaro rear bar. Took the rear bar off since I installed the rear 'No limit' shock relocator kit. Don't need it anymore for a street truck.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Recommendations on Swaybars

You can check with our Forum Vendors in the Suspension marketplace for a new bar. If you want used they are easy to come by for the front. You can check the yards for a 67-72 or 73-87 front bar. They were really common on 73-91 Burbs too. if you find a C20 that has a bar grab that. its going to be a 1 1/8" and can be adapted to your truck.

I have one on my blazer and just put a new one on my '61 Bel Air.
They are very pricey.
Most don't want to spend that much.
Please post up some more pics of your sweet truck.

Brothers and CPP often have the Addco rear sway bar on sale for $89.

Man that is a nice looking truck!

It is compared to Addco's $225 price (approximately)
You definitely need to switch to an end link style sway bar with your Ridetech a-arms.
(AND OTHERS LIKE PORTERBUILT A-ARMS)
The stock oem sway bars will work with oem a-arms,... but most members have to shorten the end of the bar to eliminate rubbing on the air bag.
