Armo, nice start for your build. Here's a little info for you. I'm pretty sure that the brake part in the cab you talked about is a working brake. Think of a line lock on a race car. Except it went to the rear brakes. Also the rear is an H072 Eaton/GM axle. Brake parts can be a pain to get sometimes for it. HOWEVER, you can swap over to the later model 14 bolt drums/ backing plates. with a little bit of mods. Hope this helps.
