Reviews of monster transmition
I am looking in to getting a Monster transmition 700r4 for my 72 c10. Any of you guys deal with or have a monster? Thank you.

Stay away there have been members on here that have had a lot of issues with there transmissions and the warranty service sucks

I had a Gearstar transmission installed... no problems what so ever. They are out of Ohio. They only build performance units. I have a level 2 700r4 with a 2,000 stall. Vacuum actuated lock up converter.
Call them up, they will ask you what your rear end ratio is, so they can tailor your shift points.... |

I purchased a GM Certified rebuilt from my local Buick dealership for $1450 last summer. It was for a 91 Corvette. I'm just about to finish final install, so I'll let you know how it goes.
