Front Drum Wheel Cylinder
Trying to overhaul my front drum brakes and got everything apart, only to find that the cylinder that I removed doesn't jive with the replacement. The one removed was attached with 2 bolts, the new one has a hanger/loop that appears to just slide over the post/spring retainer on the backing plate. Just basic 11" drum brakes with the 2" shoes. Seems like everything I read says I have the right part, but is it just a press fit that is held on my the rest of the hardware, nothing is threaded or bolted on? Thanks!

Re: Front Drum Wheel Cylinder
cant even find a part number that gives me confidence...I have seen 3/8 opening is required with locking front hubs, but the ones for trucks seem to have 7/16, I wish one time something would be easier than I thought it would be...If I didnt already dump a bunch of money into new ball joints, etc I would just go get a new disc axle and be done with it!

Re: Front Drum Wheel Cylinder
I had the same exact same problem take the old ones to Auto Zone or O'reillys and compare to 1969 Chevy Blazer NOT 1970 GMC Jimmy
