Turn signal wiring

I need some help with wiring in my turn signals. I am working on a 1958 chevy apache. I have what I believe to be a 1967 gm tilt steering column in it. I believe that it is a 67 only because there is a number on the harness
"Delco Remy D-8-67"

I have found a wire indicator diagram for it already so I have a good idea what the wires are. What I need help with is where do I connect the wires from the column on out to the flasher and lights?

Delco Remy D-8-67 doesn't mean its a 67. If the connector is curved it could be if its flat its a later model

You should be able to buy a pigtail that goes from flat to the curved.

I am starting from scratch. There isn't any other connectors or flashers. I have the wires from the lights and the connector on the steering column from a unknown gm donor car(it was already in the truck). All of the wires were removed from the vehicle.

I have made my own wiring harness for the headlights and tail lights.

download the pdf instructions from painless it will give you all the wire color codes and show you where to connect what wire
that is a newer connector and is compatible with a new wiring harness a 67 connector would be curved as mentioned

I agree with Ogre, the instructions from painless or another wiring mfg should give you the info.

I was thinking that GM went to the flat connectors in 69 but they may have done it earlier.

I think you can buy the pigtail that connects to that plug at most parts houses or you could cut it out of a car at the wrecking yard and save as much of the wire on it as you can. That would let you be able to unplug the harness if you ever needed to.

Thanks guys! I am going to the wrecking yard in the morning. I am going to update the fuse box. I am almost ready to take it for the first cruise through town! I am excited

Here is the diagram I put together to figure out my 82 ELDO column vs. the EZ wire harness. It shows the GM pin designation, GM color and ez wire color. I checked and the pin configuration is same as yours. It also shows the column key ingnition circuits and othe circuits on the column.
