I have a 1988 4x4 non=dually crew one ton, they cannot find the correct rotors for the front brakes....

4 days and counting

Any help would begreat...

What brake package do you have on it?

They said Heavy Duty like a dually,but it is a non-dually.

The dually set-up came close to working ,but the lug holes where to small(7/16).

You should have a rpo code on the sticker in the glovebox or wherever they are on 88's. It will be something like JB5 or JB6 or some number, but it will JB?. This is what they need to find the rotors. What place is this?? Sounds like Autozone to me.

If this don't work, let me check in my part books and see if I can come up with a GM part number. I'll check tomorrow for you.

OK, here's what my GM parts catalog says.

87-89 is the same part numbers as it is for 85-86. 89 is as high as the catalog I have goes. Anyway, for a R3, or 1 ton 2wd, non dually, the GM part number for the rotors is 344016. Just for giggles, the GM dually number is 6260806.

They should be able to reference these numbers in their catalogs. Of course I know we are talking Autozone here.

This isn't hard. I used the autozone site to find the info:

1988 Chevrolet Truck V30 (remember, in 87 these style trucks changed to R/V instead of C/K, knowing this might have been all you needed.)

Anyhow, with a 350, 454 or 6.2 Diesel gives all the same part numbers, with single rear wheel, Aimco 5563 $47.99 each. You will have to press the lugs out of the rotors and hubs and then back in, is that why they seemed too small?

They said it was 1973 rotors.
