1972 lwb project decision.

Front- 20x8.5 boss 338 chrome 5x5 bc rims w/5.24 bs and 255/40r20 yokohoma parada tires.

Rear - 22x9.5 boss 338 chrome 5x5 bc rims w/5.730 bs and 285/35r22 yokohoma parada tires.

A. Early classics 4/6 drop eventually. Paint the top of the cab white and some simple flames coming from the fender wells up front

What do you guys think? They should bolt right up and look like the picture after the drop right?

Re: 1972 lwb project decision.

I get it. You guys r probably tired of me a little bit. I probably wont buy wheels for my truck anyway. Ive been dead set on fixing the old truck to driveable condition for years. That was while I was driving it. I wanted an everyday vehicle that was easier on gas and that is more modern so I bought a 6 cyl. Ford escape xlt. Being a chevy man most my life, I was skeptical at first but the escape is a damn good little vehicle after all I put it through. I started driving the escape and parked the c10. I havent neglected it. I start it up and move it once a month and bought a 4 ply cover to put over it. The facts are I dont drive it anymore. The escape is much better in the winter and since it saves me a bunch on gas, I always dreamed of seein the c10 with a brand new blue paintjob and shiny big wheels. Fact remains theres about $10,000 to invest in the chevy to make it how I dreamed! Making it a $15,000 truck that would sit outside in my yard. I dont have a garage and it seems stupid of me to invest so much in a truck that I dont drive everyday. Im so lost on what to do, is it true Ive traded my chevy for a ford and am happier? Please say it aint so lol!
