Question ANyone with a 60-62 do a front suspension swap?

Hi all, I got my old original 62 front suspension out and now that i did some measuring the 6 bolt holes (3 on each side) the ones that go straight down through the frame do not line up. The 3 holes on my frame are 5 1/8" apart and the 64 front suspension i am using is 5 1/2" apart. Is it recommended that i just slot out the outer 2 holes on each side of the crossmember slightly so they will line up? thanks.

Ok i did some expert measuring and my dad drew up both the 62 frame holes and the 64 front suspension holes on autocad and we placed one on top of the other on the screen to see the results. (just one side of the frame) AND if we move the 64 front suspension 1/4" forward both bottom holes on the front (going straight down) line up and the back hole on the front suspension has to be slotted another 3/8" toward the front. As for the 4 side holes the top 2 and lower front one have to be slotted 1/4" up on the frame. And the lower back hole is way off anyways so that has to be drilled in the right spot on the frame. Is everyone confused yet?..haha If the front suspension on the 64 is in the exact spot as the 62 none of the holes would line up. I don't think having the 64 front suspension 1/4" closer to the front will make any difference would it??
