Fan shroud?
Is the 61 Impala fan shroud the same as the 60-62 pickup fan shroud? thanks!

Re: Fan shroud?
Definitely not the same. The brackets are further out from the shroud and the can is slightly tapered on the truck. Wider radiator in the Impala.

Re: Fan shroud?
Thanks, this shroud is too wide but I still have the old 235 radiator for now. Debating whether to make this shroud work with the rusty radiator or find a V8 radiator. For what little use this truck gets I'm leaning towards the cheaper fix.

Re: Fan shroud?
i did the same retro fit on an old metal impala fan shroud. i cut both sides at the two openings right by the round fan opening, str down each side. bolted the 2 now sperate wings to the core support and drew a scribe on the now free middle piece. cut the excess and migged it up. if you grid ur welds itall look as if no repair happened as the openings match up even with the excess cut out. ps after all that i found an oem fiberglass shroud for $50 on a CL pick crazyright!!!
