Re: What the heck is that ?

My guesses are #1, hand seed planting tool, #2 is a locking tong for moving/lifting rails. Looks like the upper wedge piece locks the lower one in place to clamp it tight.

Your probably right Larry. I don't have a program setup to run these things. Hey, While I'm technically not a senior, I'm pretty damn close. I have "the" moment from time to time.
What really hurts is gettin called out on it from somebody older than me. Just pullin your leg ol buddy...Your purty doggone sharp. so if you say its been on I believe you. Theres new people playing so they may of not seen it.........I'm gonna run a new game in a few days. I'll double check before I do though..............Hey P.M with what you think the answer is Larry.

#2 is too short to work train rail. I used to work on trucks for BNSF and every tool they use is at least 4' long

Re: What the heck is that ?

Awright here we go with some answers.

Number 1 is antique nail gun made by pearson manufacturing. According to the info I have it will drive up to 125 small nails in a minute mainly for shingling siding. By striking with a hammer. It sold for 5 dollars. Mongoose chimed in first with 67redneck and Leon the locdoc, 68c15 was with em and SOM said he knew. But chose to keep it under his hat...I believe him...He just didn't wanna spoil it. So, thats cool....We had 4 or 5 guys hit the nail on the head.....Get it,..."the nail on the head" Never mind.

Number 2 was used to pull the spokes into the hole on a wagon wheel by latching on to the first spoke already in the wheel. Larry gopapa had a memory like an Elephant and remembered we had this one before. And like a true sportsman eliminated himself.....I kinda think he had used one often in his teen age days getting the wagon ready for a Saturday night of courting. .....Dang, I'm on a roll tonite...... Sorry about the bad joke Larry...Your a standup dude for how you handled that....So, I'm gonna keep you on awhile and not fire you after all. lol

Stay tuned guys....I'll put one up in a few days.
